The International Command of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Corps (ICBC-Corps), under the charter of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Movement, a globally recognized and accredited humanitarian organization, with Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN-ECOSOC) since 2024, officially appoints and installs Amb. Dayamy Rodriguez Aponte to the position of:
Ambassador & Divisional Commander InCharge (ICBC-Corps)
This appointment confers upon Amb. Dayamy Rodriguez Aponte the authority and responsibility to act on behalf of the International Command (ICBC-Corps) and the IFBC American Blue Cross Society, as an official representative of the organization within the framework of its UN-ECOSOC Special Consultative Status.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Representation:
o Representing the ICBC-Corps and the IFBC American Blue Cross Society in all official, diplomatic, and operational matters, including activities aligned with the UN-ECOSOC consultative framework.
2. Leadership & Oversight:
o Leading divisional humanitarian programs under the ICBC-Corps framework, focusing on disaster response, emergency aid, advocacy for vulnerable communities, and advancing the goals of the UN Sustainable Development Agenda 2030.
3. Collaboration:
o Coordinating with international and national divisions, partner NGOs, UN agencies, and government bodies to strengthen humanitarian operations and promote global peace and development.
4. Promotion of Objectives:
o Upholding and promoting the core principles and values of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Movement, including neutrality, humanity, impartiality, and voluntary service, while adhering to the guidelines of UN-ECOSOC.
5. Compliance & Accountability:
o Ensuring that all actions and initiatives align with the international mandates and policies of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Movement and the UN-ECOSOC consultative framework.
Legal Authority
This official installation and appointment are valid from January 25, 2025, to January 24, 2030, unless otherwise revised or terminated by the Executive Board of the ICBC-Corps.
Amb. Dayamy Rodriguez Aponte is entitled to all the rights, privileges, and responsibilities associated with this position during the term of the appointment.

This letter serves as a legal and binding document certifying the official appointment and installation of Amb.
