The Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Movement and ISFOA have formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), establishing an institutional framework for cooperation in humanitarian education, applied research, professional capacity-building and international engagement.
The signing ceremony took place at the Accademia Tadini in Lovere, Italy, during the 22nd ISFOA International Lifetime Achievement Award.

PURPOSE OF THE COLLABORATION
The MoU provides a foundation for both institutions to explore and develop responsible cooperation in areas of shared humanitarian and educational interest.

- Applied research and knowledge exchange
- Student and professional engagement
- Institutional capacity-building

CONNECTING KNOWLEDGE WITH HUMANITARIAN ACTION
The collaboration seeks to strengthen the connection between academic knowledge and practical humanitarian experience. It is intended to encourage dialogue among educators, researchers, students, professionals and humanitarian representatives while supporting the development of responsible leadership and socially relevant knowledge.
Through this framework, the parties may consider suitable training initiatives, research activities, expert exchanges, conferences, professional-development programmes and social-impact projects.
IMPLEMENTATION AND GOVERNANCE
The MoU establishes a framework for cooperation. Individual programmes, courses, certificates, research projects, financial arrangements and implementation activities will require separate written approval from the competent authorities of both institutions.
Any future academic or professional offering will remain subject to applicable legal, academic, administrative, financial, safeguarding and quality-assurance requirements. Programme details will be publicly announced only after the necessary approvals have been completed.

The signing represents an important step toward constructive international cooperation founded on knowledge, responsibility and service to humanity.
