United Nations ECOSOC Status Protocol (Sec 6 & 7)

  • The Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Movement maintains Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
  • Appointment or endorsement to an Ambassadorial rank under this status is purely humanitarian and does not auto-confer diplomatic status under the Vienna Convention.

United Nations Ground Pass Protocol (Sec 8)

  • Nomination for access credentials (UN Ground Passes) to United Nations facilities in New York, Geneva, or Vienna is contingent upon specific international assignment, institutional clearance, and ultimate approval by the United Nations authorities.
  • Membership registration or titles do not guarantee a UN Ground Pass.

Global Verification Protocols (Sec 11)

To uphold the diplomatic integrity of senior positions, international nominees may undergo strict credential screening. This may include: Notarization, Government Verification, Apostille Certification, Attestation from Ministries of Foreign Affairs (MFA), or Consular Legalization.
SECTION 12: Membership Subscription & Documentation ClauseMembership subscription applicable to the selected Ambassador category shall be payable as prescribed by the organization. Administrative, documentation, background verification, apostille, attestation, international legalization, translation, and global courier expenses, where applicable, shall be borne entirely by the applicant before processing begins.
