The Federation of International Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Organisations (FIBCO) is the international cooperative alliance of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Movement, bringing together humanitarian non-profit organisations, community service organisations, NGOs, social enterprises, charitable institutions, church missions, Royal Houses, Sovereign Orders, Orders of Chivalry, foundations, corporate partners, and other humanitarian stakeholders under one united global humanitarian network.

FIBCO was established to strengthen international cooperation by creating collaborative partnerships that enhance humanitarian preparedness, emergency response capacity, community resilience, and sustainable development. Through collective action, member organisations work together to mobilise expertise, resources, volunteers, and humanitarian support wherever assistance is needed most.

When disasters, humanitarian emergencies, conflicts, public health crises, or community challenges exceed the capacity of individual organisations, FIBCO enables coordinated action through its international cooperative framework, ensuring that humanitarian assistance reaches vulnerable people quickly, effectively, and with greater impact.

Working closely with the International Federation of Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Societies (IFBC) and national Blue Cross & Blue Crescent societies, FIBCO strengthens humanitarian coordination, supports national development initiatives, encourages institutional partnerships, and promotes capacity-building across all sectors of humanitarian action.

FIBCO also provides an international platform for grassroots organisations whose valuable humanitarian work may otherwise receive limited visibility. By encouraging cooperation rather than competition, the Federation empowers local organisations to expand their impact through shared knowledge, technical support, partnership opportunities, volunteer mobilisation, advocacy, and international networking.
