IFBC South-East Asian Blue Cross Societies Regional Directorate
Regional Overview
The IFBC South-East Asian Blue Cross Societies Regional Directorate is an integral part of the International Federation of Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Societies (IFBC) and serves as the Regional Directorate for the National Blue Cross Society delegations across South-East Asia.
The Regional Directorate provides strategic leadership, regional coordination, institutional development, humanitarian diplomacy, operational support and capacity-building to the National Blue Cross Societies throughout South-East Asia. Working in partnership with national delegations, it strengthens humanitarian preparedness, disaster risk reduction, emergency response, community health, volunteer development, institutional cooperation and regional humanitarian partnerships in accordance with the mission, principles and objectives of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Movement.
The National Blue Cross Society delegations organise and implement humanitarian programmes, emergency response operations, community-based initiatives and volunteer-led humanitarian activities within their respective countries under the strategic guidance, coordination and regional support of the IFBC South-East Asian Blue Cross Societies Regional Directorate.
