The International Commission of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent (ICmsnBC) serves as the Movement's standing international advisory, regulatory, and strategic policy body, providing vision, governance guidance, and institutional leadership for the global Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Movement.
Acting as the Movement's principal Think Tank, the Commission develops international strategies, governance frameworks, humanitarian policies, operational standards, and best-practice guidelines that strengthen institutional excellence, accountability, transparency, and sustainable humanitarian action across all Movement components.
The Commission promotes harmonized coordination among National Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Societies, regional directorates, humanitarian institutions, cooperative members, and international partner organizations while supporting legal compliance, organizational development, and effective humanitarian governance.
