The International Committee of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent (ICBC) serves as the principal international humanitarian committee of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Movement, providing strategic leadership, humanitarian coordination, advocacy, diplomacy, emergency response support, and international cooperation to strengthen humanitarian action across the world. ICBC operates in collaboration with the International Federation of Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Societies (IFBC), national and state Blue Cross & Blue Crescent societies, humanitarian institutions, academic faculties, diplomatic representatives, and global volunteer networks.

Guided by the vision of "For All Humanity," ICBC promotes humanitarian values, protects human dignity, supports vulnerable communities, and encourages peaceful, resilient, and sustainable societies through humanitarian diplomacy, advocacy, education, volunteerism, and emergency preparedness.
