The World Scouts of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent (WSBC) is the official global youth scouting and humanitarian development initiative of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Movement, dedicated to empowering children, adolescents, and young adults to become compassionate, responsible, and skilled humanitarian leaders.
WSBC serves as the youth arm of the International Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Movement and has been established as a treaty organization under the International Conference of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Movement (ICBCM). Its purpose is to nurture a new generation of volunteers committed to humanitarian service, disaster preparedness, community development, environmental protection, public health, peacebuilding, and global citizenship.
Guided by internationally recognized humanitarian values, WSBC prepares young people to respond to local and global challenges through education, leadership, volunteerism, and practical humanitarian action.
