This appointment is issued under the authority of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Society (Registered under Government of India Act XXI of 1860) operating globally as the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Movement, an officially recognised civil society organisation under UN-DESA and holding Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN-ECOSOC).
